Your skin looks tired — not wrinkled, not broken out, just... flat. Makeup doesn't sit right. Moisturizer sits on top instead of sinking in. The problem isn't deep — it's the surface layer of dead cells that builds up over time, dulling everything underneath.

A fine jet of microcrystals is sprayed across your skin, gently buffing away that top layer of dead cells while a vacuum suction lifts them away. It's mechanical exfoliation at its most precise — no chemicals, no heat, just controlled resurfacing. The sensation is a light scratching mixed with suction — not painful, just unusual at first.

80–90 minute complete facial: double cleanse, enzymatic mask, steam, extractions, the microdermabrasion pass, high frequency, a custom mask, upper body and arm massage, serums, cream, SPF. Your skin will feel slightly warm and look a bit pink afterward — that's the fresh layer of new skin.

80–90 min · $110 · Minimal downtime. Some redness for a few hours (like a mild sunburn). SPF essential for 48 hours. No active products for 24 hours. Makeup can be worn the next day.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about microdermabrasion before your appointment

Is microdermabrasion painful?

No. Most people describe it as a light scratching sensation with gentle suction. It's not uncomfortable — the crystals are fine and the pressure is controlled. Your esthetician adjusts based on your skin's sensitivity.

What's the difference from dermaplaning?

Microdermabrasion uses microcrystals to buff the skin — it's more aggressive and targets deeper texture issues, clogged pores, and uneven tone. Dermaplaning uses a blade to skim the surface and remove peach fuzz. They're complementary.

Who is this treatment for?

Anyone with dull, rough, or uneven skin texture. It's especially good for clogged pores, congestion, and skin that needs a deeper resurface than exfoliating scrubs can provide. Not recommended on active acne or extremely sensitive or rosacea-prone skin.

How much redness is normal?

Your skin will look pink for 1–3 hours after, like a mild sunburn. This fades quickly. SPF is mandatory. Most people return to normal activities immediately. Avoid makeup for 24–48 hours.

How many sessions are recommended?

Many clients see improvement after one session. For best results (texture refinement, pore reduction, tone evening), a series of 4–6 sessions spaced 2–4 weeks apart is recommended.

Can I combine this with other treatments?

Yes — microdermabrasion pairs well with peels and masks. However, avoid combining with dermaplaning in the same session (too much exfoliation). Your esthetician will recommend the right sequence.
