Dermaplaning in Laval
Ever wondered why your skincare doesn't absorb as well as it should — or why your makeup never looks quite smooth? The culprit might be peach fuzz and dead skin you can't even see. Dermaplaning removes both in one gentle pass, leaving your skin smooth, glowing, and ready for anything.

You exfoliate. You moisturize. You apply SPF. But something still feels off — makeup sits uneven, serums don't sink in, skin looks dull. The issue is invisible: a layer of dead skin and peach fuzz blocking everything from working its best.
Using a sterile surgical blade, your esthetician gently skims the surface — no crystals, no heat, no chemicals. Just precise manual exfoliation. Skin feels like silk and reflects light evenly. And no, your hair won't grow back thicker. That's a myth.
80–95 minute full facial: double cleanse, enzymatic mask, steam, extractions, dermaplaning pass, high frequency, custom mask, upper body and arm massage, serums, cream, SPF. The dermaplaning itself feels like a light scraping — not painful.
80–95 min · $120 · No downtime. Avoid sun and active products for 24–48 hours. Makeup can be worn the next day. Monthly sessions for best results.

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about dermaplaning before your appointment
Will my hair grow back thicker and darker?
No — this is the most common myth about dermaplaning. Vellus hair (peach fuzz) grows back at the same rate and thickness as before. The blade only cuts the hair at the surface; it doesn't change the root.
Is this just shaving my face?
No — it's a full facial first. The dermaplaning pass is one step in an 80–95 minute treatment: double cleanse, enzymatic mask, steam, extractions, dermaplaning, high frequency, mask, massage, serums, SPF. It's a professional treatment, not a quick shave.
Can I do this if I have acne?
Dermaplaning is not recommended on active acne (inflamed breakouts) — it can spread bacteria and irritate the skin. However, it's excellent for non-active congestion, rough texture, and post-acne marks once breakouts have subsided.
What's the difference from microdermabrasion?
Microdermabrasion uses microcrystals to buff the skin — it targets deeper texture issues. Dermaplaning uses a blade to skim the surface — it's more precise and also removes peach fuzz. They're complementary depending on your skin's needs.
How long do results last?
Immediate results last about 2–3 weeks as new skin cells surface. For ongoing smoothness, monthly sessions are ideal. Your skincare will absorb better in between, which extends the benefits.
What's the aftercare?
Avoid sun exposure for 24–48 hours — SPF is essential. No active ingredients (retinol, AHAs, BHAs) for 24–48 hours. No vigorous exercise or sweating for 24 hours. Avoid makeup for 24–48 hours.
